Winona Fighter also win the prize for Best Gig I Went to This Year, and that had some decent competition (in fact looking back I saw fully half of the bands here live this year and I'm seeing Of Monsters and Men in February).
Bonus award for Most You Absolutely What Mate Single goes to Broken By The Scream's "Reminiscence of Nazca". 15 minutes of J-pop/death metal mash-up with jazz breakdowns, marching band sections and a distinctly Disney-ish passage. Sadly the rest of the album wasn't good enough to make it onto this list. Still decent though and I thought it deserved mentioning.
